PRP and arthrosis
Osteoarthritis is a common and debilitating disease that affects joints such as the knee and hip, causing pain, inflammation and deterioration of cartilage. Current treatments alleviate symptoms but do not stop its progression. This webinar will explore how platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can not only reduce pain, but also slow joint degeneration, offering an innovative approach to change the course of the disease.
Osteoarthritis is one of the most common and disabling musculoskeletal pathologies that exist. It involves joints such as the knee or hip, producing inflammatory processes and the degeneration and deterioration of articular elements such as cartilage. This leads to the appearance of painful symptomatology, limitation of functionality and worsening of the quality of life. Current treatments provide symptomatic but limited relief and fail to slow the progression of this disease. The use of orthobiological treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is intended not only to achieve symptomatic relief but also to modify the course of the disease, slowing or halting the progression of joint degeneration.
